Job Description (i) The candidate should ensure that he/she satisfies the required eligibility conditions at the time of application. However, the cut-off date for eligibility criteria for experience only, will be considered as July 31, 2015. (ii) The candidates should ensure that all the relevant information and documents have been uploaded, before finalizing the application. After finalization and submission of the application, the candidate should take a printout and keep for his/her record. No hard copy of the application needs to be submitted. The candidates called for interview should bring all the relevant documents in original, for verification. (iii) It is the responsibility of the candidate to keep his current employer informed about his application to IIT Roorkee. The candidates employed with Government/SemiGovernment Organizations or with Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer, at the time of interview. (iv) Incomplete applications in any respect will not be entertained by the Institute. (v) Mere fulfilment of the above mentioned qualifications experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Institute will further make the criteria on the recommendations of Departments to arrive at a reasonable number of candidates to be called for interview for each Department.
Salary for Job : Pay Band-4 (Rs. 37400-67000) with AGP Rs. 10500/-)
Education : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years? experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs.
