Education : a) A candidate should have a first or a high second class B.Sc(Hons) M.Sc. degrees in Physics with a minimum average 55 marks. b) The candidate must have qualified in CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or JEST. Those who are awaiting M.Sc. or equivalent result but have qualified in NET/GATE/JEST examination may also apply. Consistently good academic record starting from Madhyamik (10th standard or equivalent exam) is desirable
Age Requierement : below 28 years on the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.
