Education : EQ a) A 1st or high 2nd Class Masters Degree in the relevantsubject/Discipline or equivalent degree of a foreign University (4 semesterduration) following a good. B.Sc.(Ag).Hons. Degree/B.Sc.(Hort.) Hons.Degree/B. Tech. in Agriculture Engineering as applicableb) Qualifying in the NET Examination. The requirement of NET for AssistantProfessor will be waived off for the discipline(s) in which NET is/are not conductedby the appropriate organization. Candidates having only Ph.D. Degree in lieu of NETin the relevant subject are also eligible. General relaxation in age is admissible in caseof in service candidates in any Govt. establishment / Govt. aided Universities /Research Institutions etc. for the period equivalent to the length of service in theaforesaid organization (s).
