National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (Department of Disabilities Affairs) 2500 scholarships: in order to encourage the physically handicapped students National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation along with Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India has released the scholarship notification and welcoming all eligible and suitable candidates. So aspirants those who have eligible PWD certificates and those who are willing to pursue higher education are advised to apply. Aspirants those who are taking scholarship under this scheme are not eligible to take any other scholarships. So aspirants must take care of their application process, in total 2500 scholarships 30% were reserved for women and remaining have allotted for the male students. If any women candidate does not satisfy the educational qualification then that would be transferred for male student. So all technical studying students i.e. students those who are studying graduation/post graduation/ diploma or all other graduation courses are eligible to apply.

Scholarship scheme: candidates those who are studying professional courses like graduation/post graduation/ diploma courses in government and government aided colleges and those who are getting fee reimbursement would get 2500/- per month for graduation degree and 3000/- for post graduation courses per month. And candidates those who are studying professional courses would get 6000/- per annum and 10000/- per annum for PG courses, and this money is useful for buying books and instruments etc. candidates those who are applying for this scholarship parents annual income should be less than 3 lakhs per years.

About NHFDC: National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation are set under the control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India on 24st January 1997. The Corporation is registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 and it is constituted for providing help to all needy physically handicapped students. It is wholly owned by government of India and has an official share capital of Rs. 401 crores. NHFDC is the corporation which provides scholarships to Disabilities Persons. It is providing scholarships to Indian Students who are studying in recognized technical or non technical Institute of India. According to NHFDC scheme can apply for academic session 01st July 2015 to 30th June 2016.
