Eligibility Criteria
Education qualification:
Post no- 1, 2- B.E/ B. Tech & M.E/ M. Tech with first class any one level in relevant branch of Egg & Ph.D. in Engineering/ Technology
Post no-3- BE/ B. Tech & ME/ M. Tech in relevant branch with 1st class/ equivalent/ B.Sc. Mathematics & M.Sc. Mathematics with First Class/ equivalents/ Master’s level with Good academic record with at least 55% marks/ Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ Master’s Degree in Physical Education/ Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% of the marks

with relevant experience.
Note:
·Educational Equivalence eligibility shall be considered as per G.R-2013-(45/13) T.E-2 Date 23.5.2014
·If class / division is not awarded. Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate will be considered equivalent to first class/division. If grade point system is adopted the CGPA will be converted in to equivalent marks as per AICTE norms.
·Qualification and Experience as a full time teacher will be considered on a last date of application.
·Candidate already employed shall apply through proper channel or produce “No Objection Certificate” from employer/principal at the time of interview.

Selection: Written exam and Interview.
A) Professor and Associate Professor: - There will be no written test. However candidates will be shortlisted as per criteria of the institute.
B) Assistant Professor:-
1. The selection procedure for Assistant Professor shall consist of two stages. Stage I consists of objective type written test (50 marks) and Stage-II consists of presentation (20 marks) and personal interview (30 marks).
2. The objective written test (multiple choices) shall be based on syllabus of GATE exam of concerned program. There will be 15 questions of 2 marks each and 20 questions of 1 Mark each. The duration of the written test shall be 90 minutes (One and half hour).
3. The list of eligible candidates for the written test shall be displayed on the date mentioned in the schedule. Also the list of not-eligible candidates shall be displayed with the reasons.
4. The candidate scoring 40 % marks or above in the written test shall only be eligible for the stage –II i.e. presentation and personal interview. The list of eligible candidate for the Stage- II shall be displayed along with the schedule of presentation and personal Interview.
5. The selected candidates shall have to submit the affidavit and undertaking as per the prescribed format on Rs.100/- stamp paper.
6. The selected candidates shall be appointed on purely temporary basis for a period of 11 months or till the MPSC candidate is made available, whichever is earlier.
7. The candidate has to attend the written test and presentation, interview at his own cost. No TA/DA is admissible to the candidate.
8. The candidate should submit the separate application form for separate posts. The Application for one post shall not be entertained for other post.
9. The schedule for selection process shall be as follows.
10. Backward class candidate must attach caste and caste validity certificate of competent Authority along with the application. V.J (A), N.T (B), O.B.C and ladies candidate must attach non creamy layer certificate for considering the application on reserved post in Addition to caste and caste validity certificate.
11. Physically Handicapped candidate must attach handicap certificate of competent Authority with not less than 40% disability.
12. Appointed candidates will be governed by institute’s rules in force.
13. Appointments are for this institute only and not transferrable.
14. Candidate selected shall not have any claim for regular appointments.
15. Candidate should download the application form from institute website www.gcoej.ac.in and submit the same duly filled along with recent photograph with signature. These appointments being on purely temporary basis by the BoM of GCOE Jalgaon, all decisions related to the services of the candidate taken by GCOE Jalgaon will be applicable to the selected candidates.
6. The application without required attested copies of certificate and without required Demand draft and received after a due date will be rejected and no communication will be entertained to that effect.
17. The consolidate emoluments for the various posts shall be as under;

Age Relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Serviceman/disabled candidate & Govt Servants is applicable as per Govt of Haryana rules.

Payment of application fee can made through demand draft drawn in favor of Principal, Government College of Engineering Jalgaon.
