Recruitment 2015 for 27 posts: Assam Agriculture University has released the recruitment notification for the recruitment of 27 vacant posts. Whoever these vacancies are present in various departments such as professor (stage 5) in agricultural engineering, associate professor (stage 4), associate professor in agro-meteorology, assistant professor (stage-1) & equivalent in the disciplines of plant breeding & genetics, nematology, vety. Parasitology, vety. Biochemistry and poultry science, assistant professor (stage-i), administrative officer, programme coordinator under kvk, farm manager, driver-cum-mechanic and programme assistant (veterinary). So in order to employ all these vacancies with eligible and appropriate candidates it has issued the recruitment notification and welcoming applications from all interested and eligible candidates. Thus aspirants those who have enough educational qualification such as applicants must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Science Doctoral degree in the relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/ Animal Science/Fisheries counting relevant basic science with 8 years
experience in any relevant subject as Scientist/ Extension Specialist/ Lecturer or its equivalent position can apply through offline such as applicants have to send the application forms in a prescribed format to the below mentioned address on or before the last date of 11th January 2016. Age limit: Applicant’s age should be less than 38 years as on the last date of submission of application form. Age relaxation would be applicable to all reserved category candidates.

Professor (Stage 5) in Agricultural Engineering: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering
Associate Professor (Stage 4): Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering
Associate Professor in Agro-meteorology: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Meteorology as the major subject
Assistant Professor (Stage-1) & Equivalent in the disciplines of Plant Breeding & Genetics, Nematology, Vety. Parasitology, Vety. Biochemistry and Poultry Science: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Veterinary Science with at least 55% marks
Assistant Professor (Stage-I): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Statistics as the major subject
Administrative Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce of a recognized University
Programme coordinator under KVK: Doctoral degree in the relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Science/Fisheries including relevant basic science with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist
Farm Manager: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from any recognized University
Driver-cum-mechanic: HSLC with driving license for both heavy and light vehicle
Programme Asstt. (Veterinary): Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science from any recognized university
