For this exam and eagerly searching waiting to know the exam details. So in order to provide all exam details to the aspirants, we are updating all exam details along with admit card link. Where the exam paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions for 300 marks. There are negative marks for each wrong answer. Such as 1/3 mark would be deducted for each wrong answer.
Where questions are from 4 sections such as general awareness, verbal ability, numerical ability and reasoning & military aptitude test. So aspirants those who are going to take this exam are advised to take the admit card as soon as possible and get start the preparation to get more marks.
AFCAT 2016 Exam Syllabus:
General Awareness: Sports, History, Culture, Environment, Geography, Current Affairs, Civics, Politics, Basic Sciences, Art Defense etc.
Numerical Ability: Simplification, Percentage, Simple Interest, Decimal Fraction, Average, Profit & Loss and Ratio & Proportion,
Verbal Ability in English: Comprehension, Antonyms and Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Error Detection, Testing of Vocabulary etc.
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test section: Spatial Ability and Verbal Skills.
Selection process: candidates would be shortlisted based on the performance in the written exams and engineering knowledge test (EKT) of the Technical Branch. Written exam will be followed by an Intelligence Test, Group Test, Psychological Test, Medical conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Candidates those who have applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).
How to Download AFCAT Admit Card 2016:- Applicants are advised to log on to the official website if Indian air force at www.careerairforce.nic.in
- Then click on career option and then select candidates log in button
- After getting main page candidates have to log in through user name and password
- Then click on AFCAT 2016 admit card link and click on submit option
- Enter your registration number and password and click on submit option
- Next page would display your AFCAT 2016 written admit card
- Then take the printout of your AFCAT 2016 admit card for exam purpose.
