CTET 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 16th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET, in December. CBSE has released the information regarding this on Friday. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode. Exam date and schedule will be released soon. The test will be conducted in a total of 20 languages. At https://ctet.nic.in, students can check syllabus, eligibility and other information. The online application process will be released soon.

Application fee for both the papers is Rs 1200:
The application fee will be Rs 1000 for one paper for General and OBC and Rs 1200 for both the papers and Rs 500 for one paper for reserved category and Rs 600 for both the papers.

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the CTET exam twice every year. The first exam is conducted in the month of July and second in the month of December. Successful candidates who appear in the paper-1 of CTET are considered eligible for teacher recruitment for class 1 to class 5. Whereas successful candidates who sit in Paper-2 are considered eligible for application in teacher recruitment for class 6th to 8th. Last time in CTET December 2021 exam a total of 2773676 candidates appeared in both CTET Paper-1 and Paper-2. Out of these 665536 candidates passed the exam.
