Candidates must have passed madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized board and should have a certificate in computer training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation. minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and minimum speed at 30 w.p.m. in typing /computer writing.

for peon : should have passed at least vii standard examination
12th pass or equivalent and must passes a speed of 35 w.p.m. in english typing or 30 w.p.m. in hindi typing on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 kdph/9000 kdph on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
for multi tasking staff : matric pass or equivalent qualification.
12th (ssc) pass with typing speed in marathi @ 30 w.p.m. & in english @ 40 w.p.m. and ccc/o level/ a level /b level / c level certificate from doeacc with knowledge of marathi & hindi.
Candidate should have any degree from recognized university with typing knowledge of english & marathi.
