Hi!This is my experience at the INFOSYS placement drive at my college, FET,GKV,HARIDWAR,5 FEB 2008
APTITUDE TEST
It was a pool campus.students from about 17 colleges were there.total number of students appeared for the apti=2100
Finally selected=326
The day started off with the aptitude test. Aptitude test was a bit easy.... English was probably the easiest section as it is considered the toughest for INFY.
There are 3 sections- math, logical reasoning, English
English was a quiet easy. Maths & logic were slightly time taking. Just study the following books by R.S. Agarwal- quantitative aptitude, verbal&non-verbal reasoning.
And if u have any material for the reasoning section.then go thru it.specially D.I and D.S.
I do remember some topics though- permutation&combination,probability,series(maths, verbal,non verbal), time &distance, time & work, venn diagrams..... syllogism very important

They 1st gave a presentation.It was so impressive that I cant explain. Very interactive session.There is a Q&A round also.they allow u to ask questions what ever u want to ask about INFY
After the ppt, they started the apti.the result was declared in after 1 and a half hour.i was selected with 33 more students from my college.then they told us that our interview will be conducted tomorrow.this was the 2nd day.
INTERVIEW (only HR)
At around 9am i was called in.. The interviewer was a old man. He asked me to sit down.
He then asked me questions on my academic qualifications, my career goals.etc.then he told me to define myself apart from the CV.I answered.then he asked me if had ever been any sort of a leader at school level to which i replied yes and gave him all the details. Then he asked asked me about my sem marks . he then told me to say something about something special I had done during my academics.i told him that I was the 1st one from my college to design a robot and my paper that I am still working CONTROL OF MACHINE BY BRAIN WAVES,he then told me to give all the details.i explained him everything.he was quite impressed.
One important thing is that just try to have a project or a paper during ur 5th sem.if u do so the interview will be all in ur favour.
I don,t remember any more questions. But he was very cool n calm. So i wasn,t nervous at all. Just talk confidently n u,ll get the job for sure.
In the end he told me HOPE 2 SEE U IN MAYSORE.. as he told this I was confident that I will be selected.Then he asked me for my marksheet copies and asked me to go and wait outside.
I came out around 11.30am. The result was declared at 2 am!!!!! I was selected. best of luck to you guys.
Then on 6th of april I went through the apti and INTERVIEW OF L&T CORE and it was my BDAY on 12 th of april the result was declared and I was selected in that also.
ONE IMPORTANT THING..JUST MAKE SOMEONE AN INSPIRATION FOR U..AS I HAVE ONE AS MY DESTINY ,,DEFINITELY U WILL DO EVERYTHING U WANT.KYON KI SOMEONE ALYS SAYS ME KI AACHE LOGON K SATH HAMESA AACHA HOTA HAI.....
