The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2018 will be conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) in two different ways i.e. paper based and computer-based mode. The paper based exam was conducted on 4th February 2018.
The computer based exam will soon be conducted on 17th February 2018.
The examination is being conducted at a national level. The MAT 2018 examination enables a candidate to take admission in different management programs at different management institutes.

The Candidates can fill the form for the registration of MAT 2018 both through online and offline mode.
The paper based examination of MAT 2018 was held on 4th February 2018. Interested students can apply for both paper based as well as computer based examination by paying an extra fee of Rs 1000 in addition to Rs 1500.
As mentioned above, the MAT 2018 will be conducted in both online and offline format. It is necessary for the candidate to mark the format of the examination while filling up the form.
MAT Application Form 2018
MAT Application Form submission- Offline Mode
The candidate who wishes to fill the MAT application form offline, they can collect the hard copy, bulletin and CD from the AIMA office, New Delhi by paying 1500 in cash. The next process is to fill the application form in which candidate needs to paste the recent passport size colored photograph and submit it to various centers.
MAT Application Form submission- Online mode

Option 1: Apply online by uploading photograph and signature
Option 2: Fill the MAT application form without uploading your photograph and signature.
After the successful registration, candidates will have to wait for the institute to issue the admit cards. This year MAT 2018 (February) Admit Card will be available from 27th January 2018, until the examination date. Only those students who will have the admit card on the test day will be allowed to appear in the test.
Eligibility Criteria for MAT 2018
Candidates who wish to attend MAT 2018 exam should qualify given below points:
• The applicant must have completed graduation in any UGC approved University/ Institute in India in any streams like science, commerce and arts.
• If you are pursuing graduation in final year in the streams like science, commerce and arts, you are also eligible to apply.
• The applicant must have 50% marks in graduation can apply for the test (Note: If the candidate belongs to SC/ST category, then 45% marks is mandatory).
• Candidates in any age are eligible to attend MAT exam, likewise there is no attempt limit for the examination.
MAT Admit Card 2018 Availability
The admit card of MAT 2018 is now available on official website of MAT. Those who have registered themselves give the MAT 2018 examination will be eligible to get the admit card. Candidates without admit card will not be eligible to sit for the examination. Once the exam is over, it is advisable to preserve the admit card as you may asked to present it during counseling and to check MAT result 2018.
The admit cards were made live on 27th January 2018, and will be there for download till the date of examination.
MAT 2018 Answer Key
A week after the exam, MAT is going to release the ‘Answer Key’ that contains all the answers for the questions asked in the exam. By reading the answer key, the candidates can assess about the maximum possible marks they can expect to obtain from the MAT exam. Typically, the answer key will release one or two weeks after the exam on its official website.
MAT 2018 Cut Off
The participating institutes of MAT are going to shortlist the aspiring students based on their cutoff marks for the selection procedure. The MAT 2018 cutoff can be either in the form of percentile or score. The cutoff score ranges from 250 to 700 varying from B-School to B-School.
Declaration of MAT Result 2018

Selection Procedure- MAT 2018
MAT selection procedure consists of Group Discussion, Personal Interview and or Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds. First, a candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of MAT result or cutoff. These shortlisted candidates are later called for the selection rounds at various participating institutes. Final admission selection is on the basis of performance in the selection rounds.
The officials will release the list of participating institutes in March 2018. Till 2017, there were around 350 institutes registered under AIMA that accepts students on the basis of MAT scores.
