AP EAMCET Cut-off 2018
AP EAMCET Cut Off is going to be announced by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K). As we all know, AP EAMCET Result 2018 Cut-Off is the minimum marks that a candidate have to secure to qualify for admission. On the basis of the cut-off marks, the merit list will be prepared for qualified candidates. Qualifying Marks For AP EAMCET Admission
The qualifying percentage for AP EAMCET 2018 is 25% of the maximum marks. There is no qualifying mark is prescribed by JNTU for those candidates belong to the reserved category (SC/ST). But such candidates will be allotted admission only through the extension of seat reservation.
What happens in AP EAMCET Merit List Tie Breaker
The EAMCET Result 2018 merit list will be organized on the basis of consolidated score obtained by an aspirant by giving 75 percent weight-age to the marks secured in AP EAMCET Result 2018 and 25 percent weight-age to the marks obtained in the combined/ group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
Tie-breaker method for students securing same scores:
- The aggregate marks obtained in AP EAMCET exam
- The Scores secured in science in AP EAMCET exam
- The Scores secured in Physics in AP EAMCET exam
- The Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
- If the tie still holds on, the older (in view of date of birth) will get preference
The weight-age of marks, in case of applicants belongs to the category of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders, will be chosen by a board constituted by the capable power or competent authority.
AP EAMCET Result Analysis
As many as 1,23,974 students qualified in the engineering stream of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)-2017 results. As many as 1,98,064 students registered for the exam from engineering stream and 80,735 registered from the agriculture stream. In the engineering stream, 79.74% of the candidates qualified in the entrance. In the agriculture and pharmacy streams, 55,288 students qualified. So, we can expect around 80% pass percentage in this year 2018, and it will keep on increasing after that.
