I am Nisha doing my final year B.tech at Mar Baselios College of Engineering And Technology.I attended the oracle written test on 2/11/2011 at kollam.it was a mege campus drive.Tests were conducted at different location and around 2000 students may have attended the test and among them about 400 cleared the test.Luckly,I am one among them to clear the test.
THE ORACLE SELECTION PROCEDURE MAINLY CONSISTS OF THREE ROUNDS.
1.WRITTEN TEST.
2.TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
3.H R INTERVIEW.

1.WRITTEN TEST
The aptitude test mainly consists of two section.
In each section there are three subsection....think so... each subsection has got time limit.. ...
We could choose the part that we have to do first. I choose the technical part first.....I got questions from c++...I think they are quite simple questions like identify the terms from the definition.....That is for class, object,...then there are question related to encapsulation,reusability,inheritance..etc...looking through the basics of c++ is enough.........
Then from DBMS there are questions .about primary key,foreign key,...then integrity violation....... have given a description and asked to identify the primary key and all...... it was not too tough. but you have to prepare for it.then there are questions from Ds.
Questions related to sorting,its order,then DFS,BFS....the datastructure used in DFS(stack)..think so..........Then there is a flowchart ,we have to analyze the flow chart and have to give the answer at the missing portion..it was not so easy...do prepare for it..........then for the the other part. it was more of aptitude questions....that is questions from time,work,distance,propability ,cards...etc ......we won,t get time to complete the section...don,t waste time on difficult question....then general English aptitude question...my questions was simple.....They got many question papers........Each one got different questions

Oracle Technical interview was held on 11th January 2012 at Cochin.Iwas supposed to have interview at 4.00pm...but they called me at 7.30.....waited for long time........I went in.....my interviewer was not a tough person...he asked me to introduce myself..then he asked about my hobbies other academic achievement ..............
I thought it was more of H R interview......but latter i understood that he asked those questions to make me comfortable.........then he asked me about the interested areas. I told c++ and DBMS....he asked questions related to normalization,union operator,intersection operator......then....... for the project up to which form you have to do the normalization.....etc..........I answered it.........it was not too tough..........then he asked questions from c++........private,public acces specifier its use...then constructors....how the inheritance take place through varies class with example.etc.........technical interview was not so tough.it lasted for about half an hour.....Sometimes the interviewer may ask questions as they wish without asking for interested areas .Do prepare for all the subjects.....and they asked me to wait outside....after sometimes a person said that i not selected for the next round..............
