KEANE PAPER ON 24th MARCH 2008
HAI FRIENDS I am Jinu Shamsudeen pursuing my 6th sem b-tech studies at college of engineering ,Perumon. in electronics and communication .I am here to share my experiences while attending the Keane selection process. Keane came to our college at 24th march 2008. around 256 students attended the selection process , and around 41 were selected.
Keane has mainly 4 selection rounds.
1. APTITUDE TEST
2. GROUP DISCUSSION
3. TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
4. HR INTERVIEW
The test pattern was same as previous placement papers. There is no negative marking. There was essay writing about how college life has improved ur career. The test comprised of 15 quantitative, 10 english and 10 logical. It is just easy to clear.Freshers world helped me a lot.Go through previous questions uploaded in this site. Also refer R.S AGGARWAL for quantitative questions. Plz go through chapters like time and distance, time and work, chain rule, ratio and proportion, averages, probability, profit and loss before going for the test.
Abt english those who have a fair knowledge of basic grammar is able to clear the test. Logical section was also easy. Questions from syllogisms, and seating arrangements were asked.
After the first round from 256 students about 125 cleared the test.
The next round was the gd. The main factor wat the keane was looking for was how confident ru. So be confident. Believe in urself. The GD group consists of 12 memebers . ther wer almost 13 gd panels. The topic of our group was GOVERNMENTS CONTRIBUTION TOWARD IT INDUSTRY. Be confident while u speak. It doesnt matter whether u support or oppose the subject..The matter is how confident r u while u speak.
70 cleared the gd .
The third round was the technical round. Here also be confident dont be panic. They only ask u basic questions, go through the basic programs of C like reverse the string, palindrome,etc.The technical round is intended just to check how keen r we in studying our subjects. So I repeat be cool and confident while u speak. Dont care abt how much right is ur answer. Whatever u know say it clearly with confidence.
50 cleared the tech interview
The fourth round is the hr round. In this round they ask questions based on ur resume. So have a good resume . They ask questions like introduce urself, then ur strengths etc. Just read the company s profile before going for the test. It will be very useful. Be confient while u answer. Have a pleasant face.
Finally 41 were selected after hr interview.
Dont be upset loosing one or two chances. This is my 5th attempt. I have been rejected at Infosys,Siemens, Satyam, L&T. Frankly speaking I havent cleared the first round of all these companies. So dont loose ur confience.Believe in urself. And above all ALMIGHTY GOD.
There are all only 3 ways to success- confidence, confidence, &confidence.
