please follow "A MODERN APPROACH TO VERBAL AND NON VERBAL REASONING",by R.S.AGARWAL.this book is more than enough to clear this round of reasoning test.

QUESTION(1-5)
One puzzle question wil be given and 5questions based on that will be asked. please read the puzzles from verbal part of the book, there will be 6 types of puzzles based on that book. but sometimes they ask cube problem also.

QUESTION(6-10)
SERIES completion or to find out the missing figure read non-verbal reasoning SERIES part .this should be the most easy part in this test.

QUESTION(11-15)
DATA SUFFICIENCY. this should a little application of logic, once u know tat u are going to get the answer please go to next option,ie,if u know tat option ,A, will get u the answer, please dont try to work out the probel,go to option ,B,,wat they require is to know which options suits it and not the answer.

QUESTION(16-20)
DATA INTERPRETATION. surely the toughtest and time consuming part of this test.what ever u have practised or worked out, when u see this question u wil surely go mad.it will be like french and greek,so skip this part immediately and go to next one and try to solve atlast.it can be pie-chart or line graph or bar graph.this section is to make u waste time and get tensed.

QUESTION(21-25)
ANOTHER PUZZLE. any one type from rs.agarwal.

QUESTION(26-30)
SYLLOGIUM .the concepts looks quite silly and odd but this section can fetch u full marks if u r able to understand the 9 rules given in book.it wil be given unde r the heading "LOGIC".understand the 9 rules and always start by using the rule "the middle term should be distributed atleast once in the premises;otherwise conclusion cannot follow".
The cut-off is usually 15 out of 30 marks, but it can be increased also(ours was 18 out 30!!!!!)

ENGLISH
If u feel that if u speak good english and  can clear this written english test, throw that idea out of the window folks.......its going to be mostly on only grammar and simple, basic TENSES, but simple things are the toughest to do(beleive me,i have gone through this, trust me and be serious). take out your WREN AND MARTIN(i am sure it must be in your collection somewhere, dust it out,its time for using it)read the tenses and some rules on when to use singular and plural. some examples wil be given, just go through that,so tat u get an idea about it.once u know grammar, everything will fall into its place.

QUESTION(1-5)
PASSAGE.the passage was not as long as we were expecting.but never attand this part first,do it at last only.even if u dont find time, guess some answer logically.if u have time, read the questions first and then go through the passage.but there is no negative marking,so write all answers.

QUESTION(6-10)
PASSAGE. another passage. any one passage will be tough and one will be comparably easy.

QUESTION(11-18)
IDENTIFY RIGHT FORM OF EXPRESSION IN THE GIVEN SENTENCES.

4 statements will be given and we have to find the correct one.it wil be mostly based on singular, plural, formation and pattern of sentence should be checked.i have heard GRE books do contain these types of questions.

QUESTION(19-26)
A SENTENCE WILL BE GIVEN AND SOME PART OF IT WILL BE UNDERLINED. four options will be given and we need to select the correct one with which we can replace the underlined part. once again r good in grammar, its easy.

QUESTION(27-34)
FILL UP WITH CORRECT OPTION THAT FITS IN GRAMMATICALLY AND

LOGICALLY. its like fill up with correct option based on tenses and format of sentance.again and again, its all about grammar like walk on foot, became violent, neither or nor.etc......

QUESTION(35-40)
SELECT THE BEST CHOICE INFERENCE)
