INFOSYS PAPER ON 29th MAY AT NELLORE .
Hai friends , this is Madhu Poornima. I got selected for infosys on 29th may. I would like to thanks www.Freshersworld.com for all the guidance i got from it.
This is the pattern of the written exam
APTITUDE TEST:
1] 5 question from Cubes and dice
2] 5 questions from Series i.e you have to find out the wrong one out of the given five figures.
3] 5 questions from Data sufficiency , it is different from the pattern given in R.S.AGARWAL . Here mathematical data will be given.
4] 5 questions from Data interpretation.
5] 5 questions from logic . It is very easy if you are thorough with 9 rules of the logic section .
Remember ::: Time management is very important
1) .Do not waste time practising DATA INTERPRETATION as the question u will get to solve will be lengthy. If you have time left , then attempt it.
2) .DO prepare PUZZLE TEST from R.S.AGARWAL verbal and non verbal reasoning , its in section1.
3) .For LOGIC , practice all the 9 rules which are stated in the book . It is easy to solve and just need presence of mind.
VERBAL TEST:
1}. 10 ques
two passages..5-5 ques to be answered for each..
2}. 5 ques
choose the grammatically correct sentence from the options given below
(5 ques).......you should be thorough with the basics before appearing for the test .
3}. 5 ques
choose the optiion which makes the sentence grammatically correct..i.e, a part of the sentence is underlined and you are to choose from the option the phrase which is correct
4}.5 ques
fill in the blanks with a proper word...easy one
5}. 10 ques
Read the small para given..and conclude the para with a proper option..
SYLLABUS:-"VERBAL AND NON VERBAL REASONING BY RS AGARWAL"
SECTION 1 - GENERAL MENTAL ABILITY
1) Blood relations
2) Puzzle test
3) Logical Venn Diagrams (very very easy,don,t waste much time)
4) Ranking and time sequence Test
5) Data Sufficiency
SECTION 2 - LOGIC REASONING
1) Logic (just do exercise 1A and memoriz e all 9 rules)
SECTION 3 -NON-VERBAL REASONING
1) SERIES (just practice some of them, these kind of questions depend on the logical thinking.)
2) Cubes And Dices

Interview:: My interview was at around 6pm and it was like this
ME: Excuse me mam , may I come in.
HR: please come in ... take your seat (dont sit until she tells you to).
ME: Good afternoon mam .
HR: Thank you , give me your resume .
ME: I give it to her.
HR: If one of your colleague has left the job by completing half of his work , and I give that work to you, how will you complete the work. (There was no contact With that person)
ME: I will go through the records of the previously completed work so that I can get an idea about the work.
HR: Solve this puzzle.
ME: I started solving .
HR: How u get this much percentage [ 88% ].
ME: Hard work mam.
HR: Do u have any questions for us ?
ME: I asked her about the system followed in INFOSYS to evaluate an employee,s performance.
HR: She answered my question.
ME: Thank you mam.
HR: All the best Madhu , you may leave now.
ME: thank you mam (i put the chair back in its place and left the interview room).
Remember for an interview:::
They see your confidence
Communication
And well see how you answer them
Puzzles may be asked ,but it doesnt matter if u couldnt solve it
Be polite , and do not argue with them
