(Interview panel included an hr and a tech guy. only a small number of candidates were asked technical qtns) the test had two sections one on maths and other on aptitude. Each had 30 questions. cut off was 12 for each and the time alotted was 1hr 15 mins. for each correct answer you get 1 mark and for a wrong one you loose 1/4 marks. No separate time limit was there for the different subsections. you can answer in any order. the aptitude section is very simple. but the math section requires one to be thorough with basics of interest calculation,clocks,trigonometry,heights and distances(angle ofelevation,depression),pipes and cisterns,stocks and shares,boats and streams,volume and surface areas. we had 4 sets of question. the questions in the different sets were completely different. each one gave importance to a particular class of problems. My set had about 10 problems on interest calculation and not a single one on heights and distances.

MATHS ***** the questions are not in the same order 1. 17 times a number when subtracted from twice its square gives a remainder 55. find the number. 2. a boat goes upstream and returns in 45 mins. if river speed is 3km/h find speed of boat. 3. 2 persons are counting. one starts from 1 and counts only odd numbers. the other one starts at 32 and counts backward. will both utter the same number simultenously.if yes which number? 4.a question on calender 5. a qtn on pipes and cisterns 6. a man have 2 sons one is 12 the other is 15 he invests RS... on a bank. the money is refunded when a son is 18. interest% is given. how much will each get? 7. one question on stocks and shares 8.which one is the largest 1 area of a circle with radius... 2 area of an eq triangle with ... 3 surface area of cone with..... 4 ... 9.
