The position offers opportunity to specialize in a core investment banking domain with exposure to trading business process, complex financial products, risk and pricing management. It offers opportunity to apply and learn high end technical architecture with performance, scalability, adaptability and reactivity concerns. Require around 6-8 years relevant experience in Market Risk Domain with sound understanding of common Risk Indicators and Risk Analysis methodologies
Strong fundamentals in investment banking
Sound knowledge on Basel I & II
Good knowledge on financial market and products -Fixed Income, Equities and Listed Derivatives (Exchange Traded Derivatives-ETD) and Referential and Market data.
Good understanding of regulatory needs in market risk (eg: DFA, IM)
Working knowledge of SQL and knowledge on RDBMS
Exposure to Agile methodology with requirements-capturing using use cases and feature driven methods.
Experience on defining and executing test strategies, test plan and functional test cases.
Experience on writing quality functional / pseudo technical specification documents.
Experience in preparing and conducting functional reviews and training sessions.
Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle
Capability to work with customers and cross-location teams to establish and maintain a consistent delivery.
Ability to work closely in a team environment.
Experience in handling at least one IT development project from end to end.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Roles & Responsibilities:
Work closely with counterparts, sponsor and product owner to define the requirements and document it in the form of user stories and functional specifications.
Raise relevant questions with the stakeholders to bring in clarity
Give Knowledge Transfer to the development team on Functional Specifications.
Define the test strategy and functional test scenarios before the development begins
Train developers on functional concepts and resolve functional problems faced.
Acts as SPOC for business requirements and represents the end user in the development team.
Analyze issues faced by clients in production and provide root cause and solution
Communicate effectively between multiple stakeholders to drive clarity and solutions
Lead and conduct functional testing thereby responsible for certification of product release before user acceptance.
Encourage best practices and apply them in the team - responsible for functional product quality.
Understand Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven, model storming) and follow the same.
Set priority on work product as per the agreed iteration goals.
Work effectively with other team members by sharing best practices
Provide functional inputs for effort estimation
