Applications are invited from bonafide Indian citizens for engagement of ONE Project Assistant (L-II) and TWO Project Assistants (Level-I) to work in a research project funded by the Department of Atomic energy, Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Mumbai. The post is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. FOR PROJECT ASSISTANT (LEVEL-II) Qualifications: 1st Class M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/ Inorganic Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Materials Science or 1st Class B.E/B.Tech in Ceramic Technology/Engineering/Chemical Engineering. AGE LIMIT: The upper age limit is 30 years (As on 01-02-2012) which is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, women, physically handicapped and 3 years for OBC applicants. STIPEND: Rs.10,000/- per month (consolidated) TENURE: TWO Years, extendable to 3rd Year based on the satisfactory performance. FOR PROJECT ASSISTANT (LEVEL-I) Qualifications: 1st Class Diploma in Ceramic Technology or 1st Class B.Sc (Hon.) in Physics/Chemistry Stipend: Rs.8,000/- per month (consolidated) AGE LIMIT: Upper age limit is 28 years (as on 01.02.2012) which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years for OBC applicants. TENURE: TWO Years, extendable to 3rd Year based on the satisfactory performance.
