Holidays, during 1100 a.m. to 0300 p.m.) onpayment of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) for the post of Professor [Rs.500/- for SC/ST/BC],Rs.800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred) for the post of Associate Professor [Rs.400/- for SC/ST/BC]and Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) for the post of Assistant Professor [Rs.250/- for SC/ST/BC]by cash at the University Cash Counter. The Application Form, given below, may also bedownloaded from this webpage (www.ugb.ac.in). The downloaded filled- in Application Form mustbe accompanied by requisite fee as above as Bank Draft payable at Malda drawn in favour of theUniversity of Gour Banga. The filled- in Application Form in 5 (five) sets with self-attestedcopies (One Set) of all necessary documents along with two self - addressed unstamped envelope of25 x 13 cms. size must reach the Office of the Registrar, UNIVERSITY OF GOUR BANGA, P.O.Mokdumpur, Dist. MALDA, West Bengal-732103, INDIA on or before March 31, 2016 (within0400 p.m.). The name of the post along with subject applied for must be indicated on theenvelope.
Salary for Job : Rs.15,600-39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6,000/-.
Education : i) Good academic record with at least 55 marks at Master?s Degree level in relevant subject or anequivalent degree from an Indian/ Foreign University.ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National EligibilityTest (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC.Notwithstanding anything contained in the sub-clauses. (i) and (ii) to Clause 4.4.2.1 of UGCRegulation-2010, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in accordance with theUniversity Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree)Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition ofNET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions inUniversities / Colleges /Institutions.
