Job Description Eligible candidates will have to undergo a written test. The merit shall be preparedbased on the marks secured in the written test. If two or more candidates secure samemarks then their relative merit shall be determined by their age with higher agecandidates shall be placed at higher merit. The candidates as per merit list shall becalled for document checking for which the date shall be notified later andcommunication shall be sent through registered e-mail only. The offer of appointmentfor the number of posts advertised will be given to the successful candidates based onmerit in the written test only provided the candidates are found eligible after checkingof the documents relating to the various qualifications such as age, academicqualification, passing of Punjabi, experience certificate if any required and certificatesin respect of reservation etc. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test forGeneral Category candidates is 50 and for Reserve Category candidates is40. (There will be 100 multiple choice objective type questions with one correctanswer. Out of these 100 questions, 60 questions will be related to the concerneddiscipline of the post applied for and 40 questions from General Knowledge,Reasoning and General English for all the posts. There will be negative marking for awrong answer @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the marks allotted for correct answer).

Education : Full Time Regular 3/4 yearsDiploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/Computer Science/IT Engg.from an institute recognizedby State/ Central Govt. withminimum 60 marks orBE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineeringin Electrical/Electrical andElectronics/ ComputerScience/IT Engg. with aminimum of 50 marks orequivalent degree recognizedby AICTE or AMIE in Electrical/Electrical andElectronics/ ComputerScience/IT Engg. with atleast50 marks from Institution ofEngineers(India) Calcutta.
