Job Description Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts ofAssistant Professors in various subjects at Baba Balraj P.U. Constituent College,Balachaur, Distt. S.B.S. Nagar, P.U. Constituent College, Nihal Singh Wala,Distt. Moga, P.U. Constituent College, Sikhwala, Distt. Sri Muktsar Sahib andP.U. Constituent College Guru Har Sahai, Distt. Ferozepur in the pay-scale of15600-39100 + AGP of 6000/-, so as to reach the Deputy Registrar (Estt.), PanjabUniversity, Chandigarh, by 29.02.2016 upto 400 p.m.

Education : Good academic record as defined by the Concerned University with at least 55marks (50 for SC/ST/Physically Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade ina point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level inCommerce from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accreditedforeign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared theNational Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accreditedby UGC like SLET/SET
Experience : Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are,or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University GrantsCommission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree)Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibilitycondition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professoror equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes indisciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
