Education : Degree of a recognized University or one of the other equivalent qualifications inCivil Engineering specified in Appendix B to the Punjab Service of EngineersClass-II PWD (Public Health) Rules,1966.(ii) Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.Provided that Degree obtained through distance education mode fromUniversities/Deemed Universities/Technical Institutions is valid qualification for initialrecruitment only if such Degree programme of technical education conducted throughdistance education mode has been approved by the joint Committee of UGC-AICTEDECas clarified by the Govt. of Haryana vide its letter No. 42/178/2008-5GSI dated21.05.2009.
