Salary for Job : PB-3 (15600- 39100) with G.P. of Rs.7600/- plus Non Practicing Allowance
Education : (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II ofthe Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders of educationalqualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditionsstipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act) and(ii) a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) ora recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allieddiscipline.
Experience : (a) Five years teaching experience as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in a recognizedmedical college in the concerned speciality.OR(b) Four years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality in arecognized medical college with minimum of two research publications in indexed ornational journals provided that these research publications are published or acceptedfor publications in the Journals by the National Associations or Societies of therespective specialities as the First Author and further provided that the requirement of2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should befulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of theAssistant Professor.
