Job Description A competitive written examinationon all India basis for admission to the Ph.D. degree programme in different constituent Collegesof Central Agricultural University, Imphal will be held on 27th July, 2014 at 1000 a.m. at theCollege of Post-Graduate Studies, Barapani, Meghalaya. However, preference will be givento candidates belonging to six North Eastern States falling under the jurisdiction of theUniversity namely ? Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim and Tripura.The details of constituent Colleges, disciplines and intake capacity are shown below.
Education : The candidates for admission to Ph.D. programmes must have Master?s Degree in theconcerned subject/discipline with a minimum of 60 marks or an OGPA of 7.00/10.00 or3.75/5.00 or 3.00/4.00 for General/OBC candidates and 55 marks or an OGPA of6.50/10.00 or 3.5/5.00 or 2.80/4.00 for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Experience : A good knowledge of English language.
