National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination

(A) Tentative Schedule (Examination held twice a year)

(i) Notification of examination October - November & April - May

(ii) Conduct of examination April - May & Sept. - Oct

(B) Age limit 16- 1/2 - 19 Years

(C) Educational qualifications
For Army Wing of NDA 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education, or equivalent.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at Naval Academy 12 th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class Examination are also eligible to compete. However such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the 12th Class examination by a date to be specified in the Commission's Notice for the Examination.

(D) Scheme of Examination

Written Examination 1. Mathematics (Objective type) 300 Marks

2. General Ability Test (Objective type) 600 Marks

Total marks for written examination 900 Marks

Marks for SSB Interviews 900 Marks
