This institution was started in the year 2001 with the main Objective of providing high quality education to the student community. We give top priority to discipline and knowledge. This institution provides requisite infrastructure to all discipline and a team of well qualified and experienced faculty, all under one roof for the student community in this Kongunadu Region. Within this short span of five years we have created an excellent educational Atmosphere in VCET.
IMS Engineering College established in 2002, is located on a 10.4 acres of land on NH-24, is another milestone in the list of achievements by the IMS Group of Institutions. The College is duly approved by AICTE and affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow. IMSEC is offering degree course in MCA (Master in Computer Application) and Bachelor of Technology with specialization in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.
The institute was established in 2001 as Audisankara College of Engineering & Technology by a man with grand mission and noble vision Mr. Penchalaiah Vanki. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated to JNT University and functions as a private self-financing institution under Aishwarya Educational Trust. The institute has ISO 9001:2000 Certification to its Credit. In the 09 years between its beginnings in 2001 to 2009, ASCET has grown incredibly fast for an educational institution of its caliber. ASCET is in the news every year, following the very best results in terms of academics. In spite of all these, the biggest chunk of ASCET's success story is shared by most of the hundreds of students who have graduated from the institution and have been recruited by leading firms around the country.
Nalanda Institute of Engineering and Technology, is located 26 km from guntur city on Guntur- Hyderabad national high way, with all convenient facilities to travel from different locations within the district. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University in Hyderabad. It has a picturesque, spreading campus, about 35 acres. The College has 4 disciplines of Engineering leading to B.Tech degree of JNTU in (ECE, EEE, CSE, IT) .and Masters degree of JNTU in( MTECH , MBA , MCA) . It is equipped with lecture-halls, laboratories, Computer Center, library and all the prescribed facilities. The college has 60 well qualified staff who are ably assisted by 30 trained administrative and technical staff.
As a tribute to the founder Dr. Sam Higginbottom, who through his sincere services, hard work and dedication has contributed greatly towards enhancing the agriculture production in our Country, a proposal was submitted to Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi to re-christened Allahabad Agricultural Institute-Deemed University as “Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences”. In view of the above, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi vide communication bearing reference No. F.13-7/2008-U.3.A, dated September 22, 2009 has permitted Re-Christening of the Allahabad Agricultural Institute-Deemed University as: “SAM HIGGINBOTTOM INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE, TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCES” (Formerly Allahabad Agricultural Institute), (Deemed-to-be-University).
The placement cell of the institute is headed by its Dean and comprises of full time Placement Officers. For final year students various companies like HCl technologies, Wipro Technologies, Genpect, CEC Soft, Webtek Lab, Tectonics, Technologies, etc. have already conducted in campus / off campus placement activities. Till now most of the final year students have already got jobs.
