Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002 DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY Name of the Post :- Veterinary Officer, Class-I, (Gazetted) (On Contract Basis) Number of post(s) :- 27 Posts {General Ex-Servicemen-03, SC Ex-Servicemen-02, SC WFF-01, ST-03, OBC-16, OBC Ex-Serviceman-01 and OBC WFF-01 of H.P.} ( Backlog posts) Contractual Amount Rs.21000/- P.M. ( initial of the pay band i.e. Rs.15600 + Grade Pay 5400 Essential Qualification: -(i) Should possess a degree of B.V.Sc. and AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) from a recognized University as laid down under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No.52 of 1984). (ii) Should be registered with the State Veterinary Council under the Indian Veterinary Act, 1984 (Act No.52 of 1984) Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for working in peculiar conditions of the Pradesh.
