Applications on prescribed forms are invited from Indian Nationals for appointment as well as preparation of panel to the post of Chauffeurs (likely vacancies 16), and Despatch Rider (likely vacancies 2) in the Pay band of Rs. 5200:20200+ Grade pay of Rs. 2800/- plus usual allowances as are sanctioned from time to time. However, the High Court reserves the right to fill in more/lesser number of vacancies. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Matric/Higher Secondary with driving licence of light vehicles and 2 years unblemished experience in the line. The candidates who do not possess a valid licence issued from Transport Authority, Delhi shall have their licence transferred to Delhi or obtain a fresh licence from Delhi. Preference would be given to those candidates who possess a licence from Delhi. Preference will be given to the candidates who can also drive the three wheeler van and the motor cycle and have HMV license. AGE: The Candidate should not be below 18 years of age and over 27 years of age as on 01.01.2012. Eligible candidates will be required to appear in a driving skill test and interview. Final merit of successful candidates will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of their performance in driving skill test and interview. The candidates -ed will have to work even at odd hours and holidays and should bear this in mind while applying for the post. Duly filled in Application form enclosed with advertisement alongwith two recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with attested copies of the relevant testimonials should be sent through Registered AD.lSpeed post with the words "Applications for the post of Chauffeur/Despatch Rider" superimposed on the envelope addressed to the Joint Registrar (Estt.) Delhi High Court, Sher Shah Road, New Delhi, on or before 31.01.2012.
