Senior Research Fellow in ICMR Virology network Laboratory

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Senior Research Fellow in a research program entitled "ICMR Virology network Laboratory – Grade I" at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS M.Sc. in Life Sciences or M.Tech in Biotechnology with consistent good academic grades. Excellent practical knowledge of molecular biology techniques with a minimum of two years documented experience using molecular biology techniques in a good research laboratory. Valid NET/GATE/ICMR certification. Additional Desirable qualification: Research publications in indexed journals. EMOLUMENTS: Rs.18,000/- + 20% HRA per month. Duration: SRF positions will be initially for three years but extendable by one more year. First appointment will be for six months and extended only after a performance evaluation.
