Trainee Junior Nurse - Male

Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) is India’s first shore-based integrated Steel Plant built with state-of the-art technology and is a prime producer of long steel products in the country. The company invites applications from qualified and competent Schedule Tribe candidates for one (1) post of Trainee Junior Nurse (Male) with upper age limit of 45 years (as on 31/12/2011). Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for Meritorious Sportspersons and as per rules for Ex-Servicemen Posting: Posting at Medical Unit at Jaggayyapeta Limestone Mines, Jaggayyapeta, Krishna Dist., Andhra Pradesh. B. Pay: Selected candidates will be placed on training for 18 months. Stipend Rs. 8250/- per month for first 12 months of Training and Rs.9350/- per month for remaining period. After successful completion of training, candidate will be absorbed as Junior Nurse in S-3 grade in the scale of pay of Rs.9160-3%-13150/-. Apart from Basic pay, the pay scales carry Industrial DA as admissible. Besides Pay and Dearness Allowance, Conveyance Allowance/ LTE, Company Accommodation subject to availability or House Rent Allowance, Free Medical Facility, LTC/LLTC, CPF, Gratuity etc. are also admissible as per Company's rules. Educational Qualifications: SSC with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (or) B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized University / Institute. Ex-Servicemen with equivalent qualification may also apply. Selection Process: Selection will be through written test and/or job test and interview to be held at Visakhapatnam.
