Panjab University, Chandigarh by 23.1.2012 Director Public Relations-cum-Editor, PU News-01 Pay Band: 15600-39100+Grade Pay of 6600/- plus allowances admissible under the University rules. Essential Qualifications: First Class Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from a reputed University. The condition of First Class Master’s Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication will be relaxed in case of suitable candidates with more than 10 years professional experience in journalism. Minimum 5 years’ experience as Public Relations professional in a reputed organization/5 years’ teaching experience in the subject of Public Relations in the Deptt. of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University. Proficiency in English Working knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, Internet, publishing and design software. Desirable: Working knowledge of video-editing software.
