The National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya is being established as an Institution of National Importance, with funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The academic activities of the institute shall be started in Shillong at the Bijni Complex of NEHU in the city from July, 2012. The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals possessing requisite academic qualifications and experience, with commitment to work and an inclination towards institutional development, for appointment to the various positions listed below on permanent/contract/deputation basis. Technical Assistant Required Qualifications & Experience: First Class Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/ Electrical/Computer) of 3 years duration plus 2 yrs relevant experience. Scale of pay: PB2+ GP Rs. 4200/- Upper age limit: 30 Yrs.
