Vacancy No. 12010109514: One Assistant Professor (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) in Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Ministry of Defence. The post is reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates. The post is suitable for Physically Challenged Persons with disability viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped/ Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with One Leg Affected (OL). QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. Engineering Discipline: Ph.D. Degree with the First Class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with three years' experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. OR First class Degree at Master’s level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with five years' experience in Teaching/Industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D. Degree within a period of seven years from the date of appointment as Assistant Professor. OR B. For candidates from industry and profession: First class Bachelor’s Degree/ First Class Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. AND Professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. Degree with five years' Industrial /professional experience would also be eligible. DUTIES: To conduct classes, develop curriculum, prepare learning resource Material, student guidance and counseling and assist students in Laboratory work. To work in the area of research and consultancy as well as administrative duties as required by the Principal.
