Kindly go through the earlier notification before proceeding further. POWERGRID is looking for fresh and hardworking Electrical Engineers to join the POWERGRID family. Vacancies: Total: 40 (Unreserved: 20, OBC:11, SC:6, ST:3) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA RELAXATIONS AND CONCESSIONS: a.Valid Score in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE 2012. Candidate should have appeared in the EE paper of GATE 2012 and obtained a valid score in the same. The qualifying marks shall be as fixed by GATE 2012 for the EE paper. b.Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 31.12.2011 Qualification: Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) from recognized University/Institute Final Year / Semester students who expect their results by 31.07.2012 are also eligible to apply, provided they have obtained 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to pre-final examination. How To Apply: 1. From 5th January 2012 onwards, candidates can download their GATE admit cards from the zonal GATE websites of IISc and 7 IITs. The GATE admit Card shall contain their GATE 2012 Registration number. 2. After downloading their GATE admit card, candidates have to register themselves online at career section of POWERGRID website www.powergridindia.com with details of their GATE registration number and other required information. Any other number (e.g. GATE-2012 application no. etc.) should not be entered as GATE-2012 Registration number while applying to POWERGRID. Enter your name and other details exactly as appears in your GATE admit card.
