Jr. Agronomist

Major purpose of this position is to provide post sales Agronomic support to customers {growers.

The job involves providing guidance to users in terms of water management, cultivation practices. The job also involves carrying out extension activities like farmer meetings, filed days.

This position should provide results in terms of a} Visiting & providing maximum number of users agronomic guidance}

Help the channel for market development in their territory through extension activities

1. Agronomic Guidance to Users in terms of Water requirements, Irrigation Scheduling , Nutrition requirements, Fertigation Program, Cultivation practices, Soil and water suitability for a particular crop Prepare in Local Language Presentations for major crops in his region for conducting Farmer Meeting.

To educate, the sales staff, Dealers, Farmers in all main crops, Agronomical Reasons for better yields in Drip Irrigation through participation in Farmer Meetings Conduct Field daysTo participate in Agronomic Training to Sales Staff and Dealers in his area of operation from time to time Conduct Farmer Exposure Visits Provide pre and post sales support for direct sales in his region

1. 2-3 years experience in Drip irrigation Industry of similar nature or similar experience in seed industry or other agri input industry

2. Excellent domain knowledge about Irrigation & fertilizer management principals

3. Knowledge about cultivation practices for major crops grown in his region4. Good presentation & communication ss {Public speaking}
