Senior Engineer PV&V

- Develops product verification and validation plans to qualify structural, hydraulic components for production by developing and maintaining unit,s analyzing tools and methods.

- Prepares and presents recommations for product improvement to the design engineers, project teams and engineering management.

- Analyzes complex test data, draws conclusions and reports the information for company-wide use and product documentation

- Plans and acquires required instruments and test facilities for supporting all new programs.

- Identify and develop test suppliers for required tests that are planned. Support in developing required instrumentation and test facilities. Develop lab test set up and conduct lab tests on structural and hydraulic parts and systems.

- Provides test coordination and support for all lab and component tests to help achieve test plan goals and act as a liaison between test and engineering departments.

- Trains and guides PV&V engineers, mechanics and instrumentation technicians for instrument the machines, data acquisition and complex data analysis. Manages all instruments. Develops procedures for use within PV&V team and also across the platform.

-Coordinates maintenance of lab test equipment and related physical plant items to ensure equipment is test ready and to maximize uptime.

-Ensures that an adequate inventory of instruments, tools and supplies are properly maintained and/or calibrated. Tracks expenses for instruments and lab tests and support in capital budget planning.

-Participates and may facilitate in design reviews or other problem solving efforts to help identify action items and build team consensus for solutions.

- Facilitate procurement of required instrumentation and test fixtures. Works closely with suppliers, IM&S and finance for completion of purchase cycle.

- Recruit instrument technicians/mechanics and operators for operating lab tests. Train and develop them. Supports administrative duties related to attance, salary, training requirements of contingents working on instrumentation and lab testing.

- Strong instrumentation, data acquisition and data analysis ss

- Experience in conducting lab tests on components and systems

- Handled mechanics and technicians for completing instrumentation and lab tests

- Worked with outside test suppliers, developed test suppliers per test requirement

- Trains other engineers on instrumentation and data acquisition

- Worked on Construction equipments or similar heavy machineries

- Lab test experience on structures and Hydraulics components and systems

- Handled and managed various types of instruments

B.E. / M. tech. in mechanical engineering or instrumentation engineering
