Steel Authority of India Limited, Central Marketing Organisation will hold All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant (Trainee) and Translator. The -ion process will comprise of Written test followed by Computer Skill / Computer Typing Test / Interview. CMO invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for filling up the following posts in various locations of CMO. Jr. Assistant (Trainee) No. of Posts: 32* Ahmedabad-3 - Allahabad-1 - Bangalore-1 - Bhilai-2 - Bokaro-1 - Chennai - Coimbatore-1 Faridabad-5 Ghaziabad-5 Hald ia-1 Kanpur-1 Kolkata-1 New Delhi-2 Paradip-1 Rourkela-1 Trich y 1 Vijayawada-1 Vizag-4 Responsible for Data entry and Documentation jobs in the Sales Offices and Computer Operations, Challan generation, TC related documentation as well as assisting in the support functions in the following areas: (i) Order booking ii) Tender sales iii) Preparation of Challans iv) Servicing of DOs, v) Supervision of operations like loading & unloading of materials in Warehouses vi) Supervision of deliveries etc. vii) Dealership and conversion related activities, viii) Financial accounts, ix) Bill payments, x) Cash Bank matters, xi) MIS, Reports and Returns xii) Branch and WH administration The -ed candidates will be initially recruited as Jr. Assistant (Trainee) and will be on training for a period of two years. During the first year, they will receive a stipend of Rs. 8250 per month. In the second year, the stipend will be Rs. 9350 per month. Upon successful completion of training of 2 years, they will be placed in S-3 grade / Rs. 9160 – 3% - 13150 with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 9,160/-. On placement in S3 grade, the Junior Assistants will be placed on probation for a period of one year. Upon successful completion of the probation period, they will be confirmed in the post. (a) Graduation (full time degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks (45% for SC / ST / PWD Candidates) (b) Diploma in Computer Application of minimum 1 year duration with proficiency in MS Office Package. (c) Minimum Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English on PC. Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 28 years as on 01.09.2011 FEE: RUPEES TWO HUNDRED FIFTY ONLY (Rs. 250/-) for General / OBC candidates and RUPEES FIFTY ONLY (Rs. 50/-) for SC / ST / PWD Candidates.
