Special Operating Asst/ Technician Government Jobs

Invite applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the following posts immediately.

1. Special Operating Asst : Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute duly recognized by W.B.State Council Of Technical Education
2. Technician : Madhyamik with ITI Certificate in the trade: Electrician / Wireman / Electronic Mechanic (Two Year duration) from ITI recognized by Directorate of Industrial Training, W.B.

Age limit: - 27 years as on 01.01.2010. Age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Service Agreement: - Selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 50,000/- for Service for a minimum period of four years.

Health: - Applicants should have sound heath, Candidates with myopia and hypermetropia exceeding ± 4.00, squint and colour blindness, partial or full, need not apply. No relaxation in health standards is allowed.

Reservation: - Reservation of post for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped candidates will be as per govt. rules in force.

Mode of Selection - Selection will be made on the basis of performance at written test and interview. Candidates called for written test / interview shall not be entitled to any traveling expenses.

Application Fee : Demant Draft / Bankers Cheques of Rs.300/- as processing and Examination fees for the post of Special Operating Assistant and Rs. 250/- for the post of Junior Operator Technician Cum Technical Assistant and should be drawn in favor of "West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd." payable at Kolkata only. Demand drafts payable at locations other than Kolkata will not be accepted.SC/ST candidates from the state of West Bengal are exempted from processing and examination fees.

How to apply:
Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system of WBSEDCL i.e. www.wbsedcl-hr.in between 04.02.2010 to 18.02.2010.

After applying online, candidate is required to print the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details with space for passport size photograph, signature Demand Draft (having name and registration number duly written on the back of DD) and Certificates to be sent, only by ORDINARY POST so as to reach latest by 23.02.2010 to
